So I want to sell my car which I’m still financing. Problem is this Capital One is mostly done online. How can I go to them if I end up selling it, ya know?
So..Has anyone ever sold their car when they were still making payments through Capital One Auto Finance? If so, How did you do it?

already agreed to finance my car payments, had car for a week and now they want more info?

Me and my co-signer, my boyfriend, went to buy a car for me last week on wednesday. well, everything went smooth, we got approved for auto financing and made a 36 mo. deal, signed all the papers needed to sign, and drove off the lot in the car. I had a 6. mo warrenty on the car so yesterday I took it in to a dif. business other than the dealership (because that’s where the dealer said to go) and had some things fixed. when i go to pick it up today, they tell me i can’t have my keys. I have to talk to the dealer first. so i called him and he said that the credit financing center wanted me and my cosigners paycheck stubs and 4 references. ok- i thought that everything was fine and taken care of, but i happen to have a few stubs on me and write down a few references for the car shop to fax to the dealership. I get the keys and head to work. then at 8:30 @ night the dealership calls my cosigner and says they need more paycheck stubs, the ones i had weren’t good enough apparently.
I have no more information to give them! we already signed a contract and were approved for credit and made a deal for financing. I gave them the pay stubs we had, they said the ones for my cosigner don’t reflect what he said he made on the application, but on the application he put that he has a regular paying job, and an under the table job, and they won’t accept it if he has his boss notorize a statement stating he is paying him under the table. what could they do? can they break the contract and take my car back?

Auto Financing Help NOW?
Filed Under Buying & Selling | 3 Comments
Ok, so my current car is dying (parts are falling off I hit a bump and lost 2 parts to the car NO EXAGGERATION) and need a newer car now! This is the financial situation I’m in
1. I make about 1,300 a month
2. Don’t have any money to put down (as all of it has been put into my car to ATTEMPT to keep it on the road, probably have put 5,000 into it since last year.
3. I am 18, but thru some other bills like a cell phone my credit rating is very good, just not a long enough history behind it.
4. I do NOT have a cosigner available as everyone else has their own car they are trying to pay off.
Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do???? Again I don’t have money saved up due to trying to fix my car so anything pretty much other than financing is out of the question. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
Oh yea, and my registration is due this month and I really don’t want to have to pay for it just to have the car break for good in a month (if i’m lucky.)
my car is a 1992 nissan stanza…the new epa combined is 20 and the requirement for it is 18. BUT i only can seem to squeeze 17 out of it if i’m lucky. What do i do.

What do I do if my auto financing falls thru and the dealer tells me that my trade has already been sold?

So based on my question here:

I am thinking that something is up with the dealer financing that I got for the new car and I am not willing to move forward with any deal other than the one that I signed up for when I got the car. My question is, can the dealer sell my car before the deal is finalized? Meaning, if I go back and don’t agree with the new terms that I’m offerered and then the dealer tells me that my trade has been sold, what happens then?
I doubt it’s been sold already. It’s only been a week but I’m wondering what options I have if the deal falls through and I don’t want to move forward with the new terms of the loan that they offer me.
I just wanted to add that the dealer says that they have gotten then loan approved but, they want me to go back in and go over some “stuff”. So, I am assuming that something about the term of the loan has changed since they are wanting me to come back in, which is unusual since all of the papers have been signed.

Can I get auto financing at my age?
Filed Under Buying & Selling | 7 Comments
I am 18 years old. I’ve been working at the same job for 6 months now, I make 10.38 an hour and I work about 35-40 hours a week. I have 3 months of credit history (credit card). Would it be possible for me to get financing for a $18,000-$20,000 car? I don’t have any other bills to pay because I live at home with my parents, and my gross monthly income is about $1,200-$1,400. I would be able to put about $1,500-$2,000 down. Also, where should I apply for credit? At the dealer? Or a private company?
The first thing I would’ve done would be ask my parents, but neither of them have very good credit, so I am kind of on my own with this one.

Mostly I want to know if I should pay off my husband’s truck before or after I apply for the loan for my new car. Which will look better on our credit reports when we are looking for financing? (It’s going to be bank financing, not through the dealership.)
We have impeccable credit – the only problem with it is our ages, we’re pretty young so not a lot of our accounts have been open more than a couple of years. My neighbor had told me she thought it would be better to pay it off after we financed the new car because it would look good to have an open line of credit. I always thought it would look better to have less debt to pay on each month. Our only other debt is my student loans (also to be paid off shortly) and our mortgage.
Its not a matter of if I’m getting an auto loan. I sold my car today because we’re moving to Alaska for DH’s job and I needed something more practical for the weather up there. My student loans are almost paid off so its not like I need the monthly car payment money to go towards that. I was just wondering what looks better on your credit report – less debt or more lines of credit?

I recently financed a voltswagon jetta 2007 in November 2006 when the dealership was starting to sell the 2007 vehicals, and at that time I was able to make the monthly payments with no problem, but now that my job is cutting back on hours it is becoming a bit difficult to pay the monthly notes, and also I am vaery unhappy about the performance of the car. I was wondering would it be to early on to try to refinance or trade it in for another vehical that would be a little cheaper or would I have to wait a little longer to trade in or refinance?

Where can I find a resonable auto financing company for someone with bad credit?
Filed Under Buying & Selling | 2 Comments
I actually have a zero credit score and need a new car. I have a great job, make approx $2240 a month gross and bring home approx $1744 been employed with current employer for 2 1/2 years, and previous employment I was with for 4 1/2 years. I have zero to put down due to my hubby’s layoff and our depleted savings, I do have a trade in 2001 Ford Focus probably worth about $1500-$2000, but would like to put -0- down if it’s possible.
